KAVU Pineapple Passion Zippy Wallet - Ultimate Men's Accessory for Style and Functionality Review

The design of this wallet but it wasn't as compact as I had hoped. I bought it as a smaller replacement for a LUG chord bag and it ended up being slightly larger and the CC slots were too big for a single CC (didn't use it in my purse but didn't feel secure enough). The CCs would not fall out under normal use/storage.) I wanted it to live in my new Kavu shoulder bag but unfortunately it just didn't suit my needs.

I really should give this one star but I'm only giving it two stars because it's so cute and the concept of the removable coin/card pocket is so cool. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work as a wallet. My cards were so loose that they practically slipped out when you turned them over. I read several other reviews stating that Kavu wallets tend to have this problem. The most basic function of a wallet is to protect some of your most important things. So if she can't even do that, what's the point?

KAVU is a great brand with quality products. I hate giving this wallet 3 stars but I was less confident that it would be much thinner than it was. I'm talking about this because I'm tired of using my husband's flimsy, minimalist wallet, but this Kavu wallet doesn't match their fanny packs (which is AMAZING), but the coin pouch does. So I use it more than the wallet itself.

I liked the pineapple print but this wallet was too thick and bulky with all my cards and money in it. The inner coin compartment is removable which is nice. The buttons don't close well, which I don't like. The item is well made but a bit pricey for me. I ended up returning it - I really wanted to like it but it didn't. I got my money back immediately.

I bought a Kavu shoulder bag on vacation and looked for a matching purse on Amazon. OF COURSE Amazon had it! This wallet is exactly what I wanted, something small and flat so I can hold my ID and a few cards while shopping. It comes with an extra (small) coin purse which I use more often than a regular wallet to keep things less cluttered and lighter! Love it and can't wait to buy more Kavu bags with matching wallets! My mom loved mine so much she bought a Kavu bag and wallet too!

I love this wallet. It's a bit on the thick side, but I expected it. I really like that the part of the wallet is detachable and has four card slots on one side. So if I'm short on space or just want to take the bare essentials with me, I have that option. The colors are very strong and overall the wallet looks good. I would definitely recommend this product and will be purchasing more Kavu products in the future.

I like this wallet for many reasons. It will last a long time as it is made of very durable material. It's very well thought out. There are wide slots that will fit your cards snugly. There is a place for bills and coins. The place where he keeps your coins also has card slots, an attached key ring and the ability to unzip it from the wallet to become his own card case!
