Good design but poor durability

I agree with other reviews that the original Aruba was fantastic, 5 stars. Unfortunately, Keen has discounted the product a lot and the new design barely achieves 3 stars. I still like the design, but the materials and durability are poor. I have several 5 year old pairs that are in the same condition as my new pairs. They don't carry themselves well.

Pros
  • The finest men's sandals ever made by Keen. Need more colors in size 10.5
Cons
  • I love it but it has a horrible rubbery smell, I hope my feet don't stink!

I love these shoes! in my opinion

I was looking for flip flops in my shoes and I usually wear keen. This is exactly what I wanted and I've ordered another pair in a different color.

Pros
  • I love these sandals. I have 3 pairs. Same durability from KEENS as their shoes. Super comfortable and much nicer than flip flops!
Cons
  • Sandal color is easy to fade

Comfortable, stylish, well made sandals

Very comfortable sandals. They run wide. The insole has some arch support. Well made shoes. I had to exchange for a half size smaller than I usually wear. Now I wear them as indoor shoes but I don't hesitate to wear them outside as they look good. Love her. I should probably get another pair in a different color before they stop making them.

Pros
  • Convenient, durable and affordable!
Cons
  • They are not very comfortable to wear.

Men's sandals KEEN Aruba II

Had to replace my 10 year old Keen sandals (not sure about the style). These new ones fit my foot perfectly, they don't have a slip problem (foot loses traction). Great finger protection!

Pros
  • Good product ! There is a long list of sandals from Keen, still have them. long game ! Love me
Cons
  • The combination of black and gargoyle color is unattractive

Not for me - my new rating

I had high expectations for these sandals. I ordered them through Prime Wardrobe so I figured I had nothing to lose. The fit was good, but straight out of the box they felt like they were VERY cheaply made. The material is very thin, the soles feel flimsy - I don't think they will last long. Considering their price I thought they would be of higher quality. If they were $20 or $30 I would probably keep them for myself. But more than twice as many, I unpacked them and sent them back the same…

Pros
  • I like the looks and the style. Comfort is fine. Feet hurt after 8 hours of wear. But I have low arches.
Cons
  • The sandals are non-adjustable for a perfect fit.

leg guards. - my new rating

My husband has foot problems. He found these sandals many years ago and they relieved the pain in his feet. Well, he wanted to buy another pair, his beginning collapsed. They don't make them anymore. I've searched everywhere and often. Eventually this pair appeared on Ebay and I sold them out. My husband was so happy.

Pros
  • My favorite sandals. wear them everywhere ;)
Cons
  • For sharp tightness

Not as comfortable as it should be!

This is the first pair of Aruba sandals I have purchased from a company. I usually buy a Kateeva model. But I couldn't take my size anywhere. Apparently they replaced it with a new model which turned out to be larger than what I usually get. Both sandals don't appear to offer the same controlled support as the original Kateeva. I will no longer buy cool products.

Pros
  • About my 8 pairs. love her
Cons
  • They are not easy to clean

Pleasant in my rating

These are almost the only sandals I can wear comfortably. They are great for playing bocce because they have a toe and no sand can get in from the front. I can walk long distances with it without blisters. The only downside is that they are oversized - if you take 12 you might need 11 in them.

Pros
  • Good grip and stylish.
Cons
  • cheap quality

Best to buy on Ebay

I'm 15ft tall and it's hard to find shoes that not only fit but are well made. These shoes far exceeded my expectations. It's been 4 months and they are still comfortable and not losing their shape. just buy them

Pros
  • Looks and fits
Cons
  • Sandals are not suitable for outdoor activities

REAL sandals in my review

Comfortable, durable, unrivalled. Still in shape after 2 years of continuous wear. This is my 2nd pair. My 1STpair stayed in a hotel room out of state.

Pros
  • As advertised
Cons
  • Sandals make a lot of noise when walking.

Perfect with socks

Size 8.5 fits women's size 9.5 wide with room for socks. A little stiff at first, but then you get used to it. Typical Keen shoe with good fit and quality. Would order again.

Pros
  • I had these Keens a few years ago and wore them off. I was glad to see them in stock and loved them!
Cons
  • They are too simple and characterless.

DON'T BUY SANDALS

BUY SANDALS FOR WINTER IN FL BAD MOVING IN A FEW DAYS THIS PIT BLACK FALLS ON MY FEET, DIFFICULT TO WASH, CAN'T THEN I WOULD SEND THEM BACK IF I COULD

Pros
  • Good slides all round, my feet are a little wide and these moves weren't too tight
Cons
  • Outsole wears out quickly

Rate my review VERY.

Very happy with the sandals. I bought a size 12, I usually wear a 12.5 to 13 thinking it wouldn't matter with sandals. The problem was that it was too big. I swapped and bought a size 11 (used but in LN condition) and a "fit" if not great. I don't take them off but if I did it again and bought new ones I would trade them in for a size 10. YMMV - good luck - really good sandals.

Pros
  • Comfortable shoes.
Cons
  • They have no cushioning in the sole.

Inaccurate size fine for me

I often wear Keenes with regular straps in a size 13. So I ordered these in a size 13. They were too big. I ordered size 12, again too big. Ordered size 111/2, still too big. Ordered size 11 just right but wide. The size of Kinz is strange. I ended up having a seizure, but the pain in my leg returned three pairs. I'm done with the cilantro online orders. Too many problems.

Pros
  • I have a wide foot
Cons
  • Sandals slip off easily

Good enough to buy a second time to confirm durability

Initially, they were very comfortable and supportive. I walk about 8km a day with it. After three months, a flank had been torn out and the outsole started - noticeably less grip. However, I don't walk that much now, so I bought another pair to see if they last longer than 420 miles :)

Pros
  • My husband loves her. Great for summer on the lawn
Cons
  • You have no depreciation

Possibly incorrect sizing

When I took them out of the packaging, I realized something was wrong. These sandals were 1/2 inch or more larger [longer] than my other size 10 Keens. The shoe store I bought them from had nothing to do with this return. I believe they were mislabeled at the factory.

Pros
  • The sandals are very comfortable!!
Cons
  • Sandals are not waterproof

my husband loves this

My husband loves her. He wears them all the time and my son steals them. Update: Still popular and now I want to buy a pair for my son. This is not possible because they need more sizes. He wears 10.5/11 and they only have 9.5 and 11.5.

Pros
  • I liked the color and the material and the style.
Cons
  • They do not provide adequate protection for the feet.

Great support! - Sporty

These shoes went to my husband who has 3 stiffened spines and lives with chronic pain. These shoes gave him confidence when walking and excellent support. He said it actually seems to align his body better when walking and has a "great" grip! If he could he would give 10 stars, would order another pair for him and put away to come back when they wear out! Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not suitable for straight feet - see attached picture

I wish I had looked at the plan view before buying as my legs are straight but the shoes are designed for curvy feet ( don't offend, people with crooked legs). The pattern on the heel points in a completely different direction (e.g. 16.5 degrees - see attached image) than the webbing along the top of the foot, and then the toe box is farther from center. When I put my front foot into the front foot of the shoe to make it look right, my heel hangs sideways off the back. When I place my foot so…

Pros
  • Not only usable for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Everything fine

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Keene, you just pissed me off.

Since when does Keane start producing trash? All of these shoes look like they're made from recycled plastic, which would be fine if they were a lot cheaper and advertised as eco-friendly. However, it is expensive and shouldn't be that cheap. Look at the picture of the ugly visible glue lines. Unacceptable. For reference, the size was too big to be better perceived because the shoe fell off immediately due to the lack of a heel.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to remember, but it was
