I really wanted to love her, but .

I have a wide toe box and a narrow heel. I was really hoping I would like them but had to send them back because my heels were slipping off. There are no lace hole tricks that work with this type of lacing system and there are no eyelets on the back of the heel like there are on athletic sneakers so they had to be brought back. Everything else about them is great.

I love these best women

This was a great find. People with large feet (3-5 depending on the shoe) find it very difficult to fit into something that supports the arch of the foot. Nine times out of ten I have to use insoles because kids don't seem to have arches, so the insoles are flat and uncushioned. They fit a size 5 perfectly. My only reason for 4 stars is that they had some mud on the toe and heel; So I'm guessing it was a failed return or failed prime wardrobe and return.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Hit ankle, hurt tip of foot

Good construction and quality. But they're up to my ankles, and after walking around the house in them for half an hour to an hour, I couldn't stand them. They also left a bruise on my leg. Tried thick wool socks, 2 pairs of socks, loosened/tightened shoelaces, nothing helped. They were half a size larger, as many reviewers suggested. My daughter reported the same ankle problems as hers. Unfortunately both are back.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Poor fit from a quality brand

I think it's still a quality product from KEEN but I had to return it because it didn't fit. I tried this exact pair in store and loved it, but Revain had them cheaper so I ordered them. Just standing in the shoes felt great. But when walking, the legs kept slipping forward. I paid attention as another reviewer suggested they were tongue laced. It didn't help. If I tightened them tight enough not to slip, they pressed against the top of the foot and pinched the nerve, causing numbness and aโ€ฆ

Good fit - highly recommended

I've finally found my favorite shoes. I used to buy shoes from REI and thought they stopped making them because the other one I bought had a high side, this one has a low side so it doesn't scratch the ankle. I've been wearing shoes for 10 years and will continue to buy this pair. These are great walking shoes and I occasionally wear them in my 12 Hour Care Stories. I highly recommend it if you have plantar fasciitis. I finally found my favorite shoes. I have bought shoes from REI in the pastโ€ฆ

Not for wider feet, best in walking shoes

Quality and shipping was great. I tested them for quality after reading some reviews and I can tell you they looked really good with this pair. They just don't fit my feet and I really wanted them to fit. My husband loves his. Even if I order a half size they won't get any wider so I'll try a men's size to see if it works better. I also want to say that it's great to be able to go back without any problems. I feel bad but it's good that they have this policy otherwise I would never haveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Minor issues

I love Keen shoes, boots and sandals. If you have a wide forefoot (I have) this shoe will fit you best. I have one complaint and that is the size. It doesn't go from style to style. This pair is the first pair in the same size as regular global/other brands. I have them in a size 8.5" (I usually wear an 8 wide or go up a size to 8.5" for non-keen width). So at Keen Presido I wear 8B. and in sandals Keen 9B. In European sizes times 39, times 39.5. I have two pairs of men's hiking boots in size 7

Pros
  • Great overall features
Cons
  • Everything great

Maybe 3. I'm stuck in these shoes 11. And voyageurs who aren't the waterproof counterparts of these. First purchase of this waterproof version for winter. But they are slightly shorter and much less wide/high, roomy in the midfoot and forefoot but wider in the heel. I have a slim heel but I can wear Voyageurs and had to wear them because they have a way of tightening the heel which is UNIQUE and not advertised. So you can supposedly have a narrow heel and a very wide foot. Orthopedistsโ€ฆ
