I bought these for my dad. He has thin skin and has difficulty with healing. These provide an extra layer of protection and he really likes them. I bought them on a whim, not sure if he'd actually use them. So happy that he does, I ended up buying him a second set so he can have one in the wash and the other to wear.

I bought these for my Mother, who is petite with 75 y/o skin. Skin thins with age, so it will work with ANY aged skin that is thin, in my opinion! Mom's arms were being torn up by a puppy that I was training as a companion for her. The puppy wasn't overly rough, but Moms arms looked like she was being abused & she was highly self conscious about the scratches/markings/bruising. I saw these on Revain & there were many options available. I chose these & Mom couldn't be happier with the protection

I bought these for my elderly mother because her two little dogs were tearing her arms up when they would jump up in the chair with her. She loves them as they are comfortable and they dont make her arms sweaty. And most of all her arms have healed up and she has no new skin tears from dogs jumping in chair with her. They are definitely fulfilling the purpose in which I bought them for. I even ordered a second pair for backup while laundering first pair.

NYOrtho Geri-Sleeves Leg Skin Protectors are very comfortable to wear all day long. They wash great in the washing machine on gentle cycle and line dry.

My husband had a stroke and his right arm is paralyzed. He wears this sleeve to help keep his arm from getting scraped up when he is moving around. It is very soft and a thinner fabric , perfect for summer weather. This is not a compression sleeve to help with swelling though. Overall, I really like this and would recommend for anyone with fragile skin such as elderly or those with mobility issues.

The product works well, but the covering of the palm is a problem. I don't have any history of scrapping my hands and I have to fold the coverage of my hands back to wash my hands which I want to do frequently. I prefer coverage from wrist to elbow.

Bought these to wear on my arms when mowing or playing with my dog. I inherited old lady skin. Touch it and it bleeds or leaves a blood blister. Dog nails and brush and shrubs can’t hold up to these sleeves.

I was experiencing multiple deep bruises on both forearms. I have used these skin protectors for about 3 weeks. All bruises have healed and no significant new bruising has occurred. It may be that I am just more cognizant of my surroundings when wearing these (except for sleeping at night) or they are really protecting my skin from bumps or maybe both. The point is they work for me and I ordered another pair to switch off when washing them.

These do the job but my mom needs them to come up to her knee - when slid up higher with bottom banding around her ankle it makes her ankles swell up - am trying to figure something out

Happy with sleeves so far. Have laundered them and hang dry and still holding up well. Don't pull a stray thread or there will be some unraveling but that also happened with another brand.

My dads bruising has greatly reduced since wearing these. He was not convinced they would work at first because they aren't thick but now he wears them even when he's not out in his shop because they are comfortable and he's not bruising as much.

Just received, they seem to fit quite well, a little loose around the wrist but I haver really small wrists. a tiny big tight around the top, but can deal with that, I am older and have some excess wiggle up there, I may have to wear it a tad bit lower, just above the elbow. Will report back after using them for awhile.

At first I was not too much impressed but after wearing them for a couple of days doing chores that would inflict bumping into various objects that would surely bruise my arms the damage was lessened by about 75% and thats quite a lot considering I have fragile skin now and am on warfarin. Each person must make his or her own judgment tho, and your expectations should be not too high. These are no armor!
