Wish there were more

I've heard such wonderful things about these speakers. I bought these and a KEF KC-60 subwoofer to replace a basic Sonos room amplifier setup combined with a Klipsch RP-600M. Bottom line, the KEFs didn't match. Offering a slightly cleaner sound and sharper image, the KEF lacked the low mids and was no match for rock music compared to the Klipsch. Given that this system costs twice as much. As much as my electricity, I've switched back. Also, the app is terrible; slow and clunky compared to…

Home audio system wireless issues

Like many other reviews - they sound great but the connectivity completely ruins the experience. I bought these for their wireless capabilities and integration with Spotify. I couldn't get them to play music for more than 3 songs without disconnecting. It drove me crazy I've had Bluesound Node 2 for about 3 years with no problems. I tried different ways to fix it (several firmware updates, hard reset, switching to a 5GHz network, setting a static IP) and finally the top recommendation was to…

Five Star Sound, Three Star Interface

The sound is amazing, especially in such a small package, but the volume on the remote isn't very appealing (it seems to have its own mind) and the app really sucks. That makes the overall package good, but not outstanding. Since I'm all about the sound, I would say that they are worth the money. I hope that KEF will process the application. Edit: The speakers are disabled and I can't get them to work properly. Working with the KEF helpdesk has become a kind of dystopian film about three…

Best win, worst connection for many.

Much better amplification with each speaker thanks to the dual amplification system - class AB for the tweeter, class D for the woofer. but in a bad move they removed the USB-B connector from the previous generation. You can no longer use it as a PC/Laptop DAC. They've also ditched the unbalanced analog RCA L/R inputs in favor of a cheaper consumer 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input, instead they *should* give us balanced XLR inputs. They've added an ARC HDMI input for TV lovers, but it's hardly TV…
