Very good for this money.

I've bought both mid-range (Freud) and no-brand tips and I'd say they're in the middle of this group. Not as good as $15-25 bits, but unlikely to break or seize bearing. They cut clean and well with no rattling that I could see. For a set of 4 bits with a 1/2" shank this is a decent set at a good price.

Pros
  • Anti-kickback design
Cons
  • Small parts

Great results with these round nozzles

I have used three of the four nozzles several times in three years. A great result every time. Materials included typical lumber (spruce, spruce, pine), some hardwoods (cherry, oak, and sassafras), and plywood. Usually they were mounted in a router table. They worked just as well with a hand router. I prefer the 1/2" shank as is. They feel solid.

Pros
  • non-stick
Cons
  • old

Disassembled - Edge and Groove Bit

The set came with bits in the box. 3 of them have chips in the carbide. I will send them back and try to place a second order. I ordered the same ones a few years ago and they arrived in good condition, securely in place. 2nd order update: 2nd order arrived with the biggest bat in the box. . He managed to cut the carbide on all 4 bits. I am returning this order as well. These are great pieces for the money and I would order them again if they can add something to the box (tape, foam sheet etc)…

Pros
  • C3 or C4 Premium Carbide
Cons
  • Very Expensive
