Although the material of the bag isn't quite the same as the new Kenmore canister vacuum, this IS fabric holds odors better than HEPA paper bags of the same size.

I was expecting HEPA cloth bags that capture 99.97% of dust, pollen and bacterial particles. Instead, they're just cheap paper bags! I will return them. They don't even deserve a star.

The most important thing about this product was that it arrived on time and I really needed it because I was doing some serious house cleaning and had company. The pockets are just fine. Cheaper stuff than what I buy from Sears.
