I've spent a lot of time going through the specs of all the Revain brushes. Wow, I had no idea a simple comb could have so many options. My husband and I have used the same combs for years. That doesn't mean our old combs were anything special. We just thought a scallop was a scallop despite being firm. Decided to shake things up for an expensive hairbrush. It's worth every penny. This is a very well made comb. Has some weight. The teeth are not sharp at the ends. I wish I had bought one a year ago. Stop buying cheap combs because if you add up the total cost of all the cheap combs you've bought over the years, it will only top one of them. I expect this product to last for many years. For me there are no more cheap combs.

**Update for 8 Months** No wonder this comb has worked amazingly well for the last 8 months. The gold inscription on the crest itself was dull and worn, but not a single prong was broken. I wasn't exactly gentle with him either, since I take him almost everywhere and travel often. I have been looking for a comb that is better than the standard hard rubber or plastic combs you find at the pharmacy. But a few things to note: 1. It's more than I expected. You can't carry it in your back pocket (although I didn't intend to).2. The large wide (teeth?) are very well made and comfortable to use. But they are quite wide.3. Very pleased with this hand made Kent comb from last year. Still looks new and will last at least ten years. The bad thing is that the comb is expensive. My wife asked me why I spent money on this comb when I could get a very cheap one at a pharmacy. I told her I was there, did and I'll try the quality this time as the reviews were great. I have no regrets and would buy again although I don't think I would need another one.

Definitely the best comb I have ever bought. NOT EVERY BOMB IS THE SAME. I love the way this comb styles my hair, it brings the strands of hair closer together and makes your hair look very pretty.
