Description of πŸ”§ Enhanced KEYESTUDIO Plus Board for Arduino UNO R3 with Type-C USB Cable, increased 3.3V 5V 1.5A Output Current, Advanced Controller Board

The KEYESTUDIO Plus board can work like the Arduino Board but it is more powerful and has more pins. The USB to Serial chip of this board is stable and compatible CP2102; USB connector of it is Type C USB Port; extend serial communication and I2C interface, 6 PWM and 6 analog ports. 3.3V and 5V output; 6-15V input; More IO ports:A6,A7; special DC-DC design provides up to 5V 1.5A, can drive high-current devices like servo and motor. The yellow text on black board makes identifying pinsets a breeze. FCC and CE is available. How to use: Search for "keyestudio wiki KS0486" in Google Chrome to get the wiki online tutorial for this product. Technical supports are available at any time!

great sauce good for computers and accessories

Source current must be enough to run all devices. I have used this for Arduino RC planes, two brushless motor signals and two servos plus radio and I have achieved the BEC speed controller. It would be better to power the Arduino directly from a 7.4v lipo battery instead of using a BEC. When I crashed the plane the board crashed lol but the plane was able to fly to the crash site.

Pros
  • This board's USB to serial chip is stable and CP2102 compatible; The USB port is a Type-C USB port; Extended serial and I2C interface, 6 PWM and 6 analog ports
Cons
  • Not the best

Great replacement for Arduino Uno

This is a well made board. I love the extra connections for power, ground, analog I/O, etc. It has a USB-C connector, which is more common these days. I used it for a LED dot matrix display project and it worked great. And you can't beat the cost.

Pros
  • . How to use: Type "keyestudio wiki KS0486" in Google Chrome to get the online manual for this product. Technical support is always available!
Cons
  • Nothing here

Discard the included cable

The board itself is excellent, well made, clearly labeled etc. The supplied USB to USB-C cable did not work on any of the three computers that I tried. Replaced it with the cable I had on hand and bingo worked.

Pros
  • . This board's USB serial chip is stable and compatible with CP2102; The USB port is a Type-C USB port; advanced serial and I2C interface, 6 PWM and 6 analog ports
Cons
  • poorly thought out

awesome sauce - Computer Components

Source current should be sufficient to operate all devices. I've used this for an Arduino RC plane, two brushless motor signals and two servos and a radio and got tanned by BEC speed controllers. It would be better to power the Arduino directly from a 7.4v lipo battery instead of using a BEC. When I crashed the plane the board crashed lol but the plane was able to fly to the crash site.

Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

No communication between board and computer

I checked the Keyestudio website for instructions before connecting the board. This webpage gave you general instructions for installing the Arduino IDE and the driver used by the board if your software version is not 1.8. Since my version is 1.8.13, I checked that the driver was installed and then proceeded with the connection. After connecting the board, I understand that there is no connection between the computer and the board. I will send it back and ask for a replacement.

Pros
  • Yellow text on black board for easy pin identification. FCC and CE available
Cons
  • Negative available
