I bought this to replace my original key fob but I don't want to spend more money on a duplicate metal key. So I decided to take the front of this key ring and slip it into the back of my original and it fits perfectly! The quality of the material does not correspond to the original. This one looks cheaper but is good enough.

We have purchased two remotes which clearly state that they fit our 2011 Acura MDX. We contacted the Acura dealer and they don't work with our MDX but are designed for the sedan. We ran out of $50 but now have to pay the dealer over $200 to get a new one. They were willing to cut the program we had for $75, but they were wrong. We were unlucky because the return window was over because we couldn't do it sooner.

I just read this review from March 2019 and that's exactly what happened to us. Attention buyers! This is advertised incorrectly. It was said it would work for the Acura MDX, when in fact it didn't. You can't use this until you cut the key and then it won't work properly and can't be returned. Acura MDX does not recognize it. The settings are not saved (driver one and driver two settings), the tailgate does not open and basically you only have an expensive key. It doesn't really need ZERO…
