Does not fit Cadillac DeVille

Bought to replace my son's lost keys. The site you are being redirected to to program the key fob is down. Keys taken from dealer for cutting. After some effort, the car opened but would not start. The key requires an internal electronic or magnetic device to disable the security system. I still had to order new keys in the cabin. Wasted a week thinking it would work.

Pros
  • Interior
Cons
  • Some small items

Key fob will not program

Key fob will not program with my 2000 Silverado. The existing key fob is programmed correctly so I know the truck's systems are working properly. I already cut the key and it works as expected. I even went to the manufacturer's website and followed their instructions, using the maximum time to hold the buttons for successful programming, but to no avail. A return is not possible as I only want to return a non-working keychain.

Pros
  • Keyless entry systems
Cons
  • Negative present

Works great without installation instructions

Okay, the local auto parts store sold me one for $70 that wasn't programmed. In my frustration, I decided to try Revain. I was a bit skeptical for only $15 but took a chance. It arrived with no instructions but included a link to a website that was not helpful. A quick search on YouTube for how to install keyless entry for a 2002 Silverado gave me a 2 minute video explaining the simple process. See link below.

Pros
  • Anti-Theft
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish
