Fits well on my 2011 Toyota Corolla. I programmed it myself to open the doors. But the dealer had to program to start the car. I took it to the dealer to have it cut, their machine completely messed up the cut so they gave me a new original key to replace due to their mistake. I took it to be cut on ACE Perfect hardware and then returned to the dealer for chip programming for only $60.00. Good business.

Not compatible with my 2013 Corolla

This key is not compatible with my 2013 Corolla. Looks identical. My key has a "G" stamped on the shaft as required. But the locksmith couldn't get the chip to work with my car. It indicated that the FCC ID on that key did not match my master key. Maybe the 2013 Corollas came with different types of keys because others said they worked, but definitely not mine. The locksmith orders a key from Duracell, which is much more expensive than this one, too bad. But still much less than the dealer.

Not programmed to start the ignition! Malfunction!

The key for my 2013 Toyota Corolla could not be programmed by a Toyota locksmith or dealer to start the car! Malfunction. I had to get the original key from the dealer and have it programmed or I lost the original cost of programming that crappy key. Only $281 from dealer! Reviews were good but no one I called (locksmith or dealer) made sure the aftermarket keys worked now or would continue to work. Tried it at my own risk and lost some money with this key. Thank goodness the locksmith got me a

  • Definitely bad product

I had the key easily cut by a locksmith. He offered to program the transponder but I was planning to do it myself using a USB OBD cable and the TechStream software. I was able to program the door lock buttons by following a series of steps including inserting and removing the key, opening and closing doors, etc. I found instructions for this on the internet. My biggest problem was getting the Techstream software to work on my laptop, but I finally figured it out and used it to program the…

My wife and I managed to lose both key fobs leaving only the parking key. I ordered this replacement key (should have a G on the key) and when it arrived I called locksmith. He said he could program it. It arrived and spent about 45 minutes of which 15 minutes was waiting for the immobilizer to reset. The cost of his services was less than $75. Since the servant key didn't open the trunk, that was the only thing he couldn't do. He offered to try it but said the key might not work if he got it…
