Worked great on 2011 Toyota Camry with "G " buttons

Worked great on 2011 Toyota Camry with "G" buttons. Techstream software has allowed me to add them to my car and both the transponders and wireless buttons work great. Thanks!

Pros
  • Wide Range
Cons
  • Weight

Came with my Toyota

I took these keys to the Toyota showroom to look at, they are programmed with my car first before being cut. If it wasn't for them I might have returned them. Both keys are programmed and they cut them for me for about $100. I didn't have to spend $400+ on a new dealer key. These keys saved me a lot of money.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Does not provide programming for the vehicles mentioned

Does not provide programming instructions for my Toyota Camry. Weed wanted it mentioned, rather than saying it's easy to program on the Toyota Camry, just knowing it's not available. No locksmith, key copying service or garage wants that. Something like a waste of money

  • Done

Great for 2011 Camry

Programmed these buttons for my 2011 Camry yesterday and am very pleased. You saved me hundreds of dollars. The biggest problem I had was trying to cut the keys. All the typical places I make keys (Walmart, True Value, etc.). Their key machines couldn't cut the keys because they were too long. You need to go to a place that specializes in chip keys. Otherwise an excellent product.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Not sure

Doesn't work even if the original keys have the letter "G "!

I bought these keys because the website said your original keys have a "G" stamp on them which my original key has, but still after spending $95 reprogramming, the new key can only open/close my car doors but NOT start! The programmer informed me that this is due to the incompatibility of the chip. My original dongle is based on IC 1551A-12BDC while the website sent me IC 24223 TYV1. There is no mention of this anywhere on the site! I have contacted the seller about the return. We are waitingโ€ฆ

Works exactly like manufacturer's keys

Keys work great and work as intended. Installed G chip. DO NOT ORDER IF YOU HAVE A DOT ON YOUR MASTER KEY. My car only allowed one additional key (2 total) to be programmed to start the car. I can unlock the car door manually and use the remote control buttons to lock, unlock, open the trunk and set the alarm with both keys. 3 different locksmiths confirmed it was the car and not the keys. Would love to buy again! You get a 92% discount compared to ONE key from the dealer!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Yes Yes Yes can't go wrong.

My mechanic couldn't program the keys to my car's ignition (my fault I thought the faded dot on my key was a faded G). Keys and remotely so locking my keys in the car still serves a purpose. I recommend this product but I suggest you check with the retailer first to find out the chip, transponder letter or dot on your key if that is not clear. However, most dealers want you to buy their key for between $200 and $290 per key. It will cost you about 75.00 to 100.00 once you have programmed itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Security
