Works well but you have to be close enough (within 1-2 vehicle lengths) to the 04 F150 Supercrew for it to work. As these are the only ones I have I can't be sure if they are FOB or Ford. I often have to press the button 2-3 times unless I'm nearby, when I press the desired button gently and forcefully, preferably while holding the key fob at arm's length and "aiming" at the truck.
