Works great - keyless entry systems

I have a 2010 Toyota Camry. I found a local dealer to cut and program this key which took less than 30 minutes and much less than what was listed for the dealer bought key. The seller even lists a number to call if the dealer is having trouble programming. The button feels a little lighter than the original, but all buttons are solid and responsive.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some little things

Well, my Toyota dealer agreed to program this key.

Well my Toyota dealer agreed to program this key after I had it cut cheaply by a local locksmith. It unlocks the car when you put the key in the lock and you can use it to start the car, but remote keyless entry doesn't work. However, it was cheaper than buying the Toyota version at around $170, but I think you should get a fully functional key when you buy one!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Negative gift

The youtube program doesn't work, find a dealer to program it.

I'm sure it will work, but I can't find a dealer or locksmith to program it. They all want me to buy their keys. The least I can do with it is open the door or trunk if necessary, but it's annoying that nobody in my town will touch it. Programming on youtube doesn't work either, so it sucks, I hope I can find someone who can. There are cheaper ones on EBay, it's a shame to have them and not be able to use them. I just thought this version was better, but I don't think it matters.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Expensive

It is programmed for 2009 Toyota Camry

It worked for 2009 Toyota Camry. You can't program it manually (by opening/closing the door many, many times in a specific pattern) as you can see in the YouTube video - I didn't think of the make/model that way, but I tried . I am alright. I was already willing to pay for the repeat program. Expect to pay at least another $100 from the dealer to have the key cut and programmed. If you can't live without FOB, it's worth the money. Our dealer said that they often get these keys from people after

Not exactly original quality but much better quality

This key looks like an exact replica of the original key I received from my 2007 Toyota Camry LE, the only difference is the materials. The quality of the plastic is a bit worse (I'm not sure if this new key/fob will look as good as my existing key/fob in a few years), and the click feel of the button is also a bit worse. The compromise is worth the price as that wrench ($20) and locksmith price ($70) still saved me $60 over what the dealer called for a replacement. I found one who answered in…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Worked on a 2008 Toyota Camry. Didn't save me much money after all.

This works for my 2008 Toyota Camry! Programming could not be done without a locksmith/technician. He had to use an 'X2 AutoProPad Lite' tablet computer to connect to the ODBII port and put the car into 'learning mode', indicated by a solid security light on the dashboard. The cost is $85. So only $105 when the same company called me $110 including key. So not the biggest money saver. Also, he didn't program the buttons, it was an additional $65, and I was told I could easily find those…

Replacing the transponder was very easy, transponder and key fit in

KeylessOption Remote Keyless Entry car key fob replacement for HYQ12BBY I broke the top hinge on my 2010 Toyota Camry key after 7 years! I bought this replacement from Revain for $18.88. Moving the transponder and mobilizer to replace the key fob was a hassle because nobody in California wanted to sharpen the key blank. I finally found an elderly gentleman to cut the blank. He told me he couldn't guarantee it would work so I asked him to cut it and I will be responsible - no returns. I searched

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
