I wouldn't say the programming was very easy, but if you can pat your head, rub your tummy and skip ahead one leg, you did it! Seriously, I had to go through the instructions a few times and then it worked. The 2nd worked the first time. No questions.

They worked great on my Newbie for Me Grand Vitara. Very solid feel, good stable buttons and housing. Very easy to program, although it doesn't really depend on the key fob. They're quite expensive compared to other key fobs I've bought for other cars, but they seem to be a lot more reliable than the $11 key fobs I bought for my Oldsmobile.

Well, at first I was disappointed. The item description says it comes with full DIY instructions on how to set up the remote, but when it arrived there was just a note in it that it was not user adjustable and needed to be taken to a dealer or locksmith. Googling I found a setup guide and everything worked fine. (In hindsight I looked at the original instruction manual and there are programming instructions in there as well).
