Currently works well for keyless entry systems

It works, but the piece of thin clear plastic film inside didn't last long. This is the contact for the circuit board when you press one of the buttons. I had to use one from an old similar factory key to put a replacement in.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some flaws

That was a lot because the dealership charges a flat fee of $250.

I was surprised when I received the product and read the instructions. It said I absolutely needed the (2) original keys or I would have to go to the dealer or locksmith. I only had 1 key, that was the purpose of my order. I took the key to the dealer and ended up spending $60. It took me 15 minutes in total to get there. That was a lot because the dealership charges a flat fee of $250. I spent a total of €80. Who can beat this now?

It costs less than a factory key.

Bought a 2007 Jeep GC with a key for lock, unlock, rear window and remote start. This key locks, unlocks and opens the rear window. The remote start button also opens the rear window. The dealer first said that since it is an aftermarket key, its responsibility ends with the pairing with the computer. I accept. The retailer charges $179.99 for the key, which is $11 plus $65 for the program. Also programmed are two new uncut replacement car ignition keys with Keyless2Go Y164 transponders. They…

Best Keyless Entry System I've Saved Money

This key replaced my original key controller because the corner piece ripped and I couldn't put a ring on it so I bought it before I lost my original key. Pros: Fast delivery All buttons work, even remote start Can get a key for any hardware issues or even from a dealer who can charge $50 or less Transferred my original transponder and put it in a new compartment, emptying my original broken key fob. Everything works. I keep my original key fobs in case I lock myself in my Chrysler 200 2011…

Key works great - Anti-theft

This key worked well. Went to my local locksmith where I had it cut, then to the Jeep dealer for input and ignition adjustments. The cost was less as the key was already cut but since you don't buy the key from the dealers they don't guarantee that key will work but I had no problems. Very happy with the money saved and will do this again. For the 4 star rating as the ignition setup instructions require 2 working keys. Most people who buy this key will most likely only have one key to work…

Why pay a dealer $200 when you can program it yourself?

I didn't want to pay the dealer for a new key fob so I ordered this key and took it to a local shop where they cut it. Then follow the included instructions to program myself. The total investment of $13 can't be beat, even if I had to program it locally it would cost $30. With the money saved I will buy my wife an extra present. Update: Case cracked after about 85 days. I tried to contact the seller through Revain with no response. I contacted them again via Amazon 4 days later and got a…

Great replacement key fob

I liked this key fob, took it to a locksmith, programmed it and cut it out. The only problem he had was that he couldn't get the remote start button to work. All others worked perfectly. Lock, unlock and lift the tailgate. I just can't get the remote start right. It's ok, it's a spare key anyway and the price was good. I asked the locksmith how much the third key cost and he quoted $109! However cheaper than at the dealer. It only cost me $40 to cut and reprogram this key. I might get a 3rd key

Bad keys. Plus losing money trying to program them.

Bad keys. The remote start button does not work. This seems to be a common problem with this company. In fact, after 2 weeks not a single button works. My locksmith says that happens with cheap transponder keys. Not only was I wasting my money, I also lost extra money on all the time my locksmith spent programming this key, which cost me $70. (He was cheap because he was sort of a friend of a friend, but his locksmith's ranking on Google is extremely high, so I know it's not because of his…
