Description of Kiali Operator

Kiali is an observability console for Istio with service mesh configuration capabilities. It helps you to understand the structure of your service mesh by inferring the topology, and also provides the health of your mesh. Kiali provides detailed metrics, and a basic Grafana integration is available for advanced queries. Distributed tracing is provided by integrating Jaeger.

Great tool with intuitive user interface

The UI is very clear and easy to use.The alerts are great! We have multiple services that we run at our organization and it was difficult keeping track of them all in one place before kiali came along.Kali has helped us see what's happening across our infrastructure and keep everything updated! There aren't any downsides that i can think of right now. But if there were, they probably wouldn't be too big a deal either. If you're looking for something simple but powerful this product will do…

Pros
  • Everything about working with techs here as an engineer I like best so far because its relatively pain free compared other tools which require alot more work from engineers.its super quick when troubleshooting problems especially those specific ones where someone would need manual intervention via sshing into prod etc..easy access through ui interface makes life good also :)

Awesome tool for Network Monitoring & Application Performance Analysis

The best thing about kali tool it's easy way we can monitor our application easily without any technical knowledge or expertise in networking area. Also there are many plugins that help us monitoring different aspects like network traffic analysis etc., But one problem i am facing when using this software its need more memory so if u want try new features then better use 32 bit only not 64bit version as they have some limitation while running their tools.(For example) If my cpu has 4 cores but…

Best tool for tracking performance of your app

The UI looks very clean & easy-to use alongwith good features like drill down options which help us in finding our issues quickly without any effort or debugging involved! Also it has builtin integrations such as Liveness/Readiness checker etc.,which makes things easier when we have multiple services running at same time (say 2 apps).   • Very user friendly interface with all required info displayed clearly.
  • Integration capabilities for various 3rd party platforms is also pretty cool, especially AWS integration helps you understand your cloud costs easily by just looking into dashboards :)
  • Dashboard customization can be done according requirements using JSON files available under /opt directory after installation steps completed successfully ! It's really awesome
