Kid Basix Safe Sporter 12oz: Durable Stainless Steel Water Bottle for Kids, Purple Review

This is for my 5 year old who loves it. My only criticism is that it doesn't stay cold very long, but other than that it's easy to use with a sports cap and easy to clean.

I like the size. I wish there was something to hold on to. The lid is difficult to close and sometimes leaks, leaving my daughter home with a wet lunch box.

This is a total misconception. There is no double layer or double insulation. You pour ice water, it's instantly freezing outside, you pour hot water, it's instantly hot outside. There is no isolation at all. I will be returning this product, can't believe anyone would say it provides insulation. Complete and utter deception.

We got two of these bottles for my 5 and 10 year olds after trying other refillable water bottles. The Safesporter spout is simple and easy to use, and the dust cap closes securely on the spout with a push. I wash them up every day after school and wash my dishes once a week and so far they've held up well. I loved the look and description so much that I bought two of these and they were both defective, in different ways. Purple oozed out from under the sigil wherever it twists. How does that even happen? You might think that a screw cap would absorb liquid. On the blue one, the pull-out spout didn't stay up, it just went down and blocked the flow of the drink. I had to send both back.

I've been using them at my home daycare for 2 months now and love them so much! Each of my children is assigned a different color, so I love that I can get one for each and not have to keep guessing which mug goes with which one. In the beginning I had some problems with my orange opening well. But after daily use it became much easier. For some reason, the spout on this mug is made of a different material than the rest.
