Very good for small hands. I bought one for my almost 3 year old granddaughter and one for my almost 5 year old grandson. It was perfect for a 5 year old. It is even more difficult for a three-year-old to concentrate. A five-year-old child looks at everything with it and seems very surprised that he can see everything so well. You turned out great. Not too heavy to wear around your neck at the zoo.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my niece and she was so excited and smiling from the moment she opened it, I think that's the best possible answer. And she continues to "play" with them almost every day, which is very commendable, since children tend to abandon toys very quickly. .This will remain on my list for all future birthdays and Christmas gifts.

After reading other reviews I was sure this would make a great gift for my daughter. I was wrong. She is a very gentle child and a few hours after I received these binoculars the loops on the strap broke and I had to re-tie them. You may have noticed that these binoculars are sold by several vendors on Revain. Even though they look the same, they are from different manufacturers, which was a bit confusing for me at first.
