I ordered and installed these as plant lights three weeks ago and they work great. They are very bright so they light up my living room too. I only needed a screwdriver for assembly, since all the necessary screws and parts were included in the kit.

I bought these based on some reviews saying they use them for growing seedlings. This is my first year trying to grow anything. I've been a bit lazy and only planted half of the plants outside in the last few weeks. But as you can see in the video, indoor plants still thrive almost exclusively with them.

I wanted a 6500K white light that would be daylight for my plants. They were easy to put together and I ordered adjustable chains that hook onto the clips and allow me to adjust the height of my plants as they grow. I have two lamps on the shelf and enough space to add more plants. They're also very bright for low power consumption, which is a good thing.

I use it to grow gourmet mushrooms and it works great! I would rate B+ on some other very good brands but I would rate this as A++. This is the envy of LED strips. The light emitted is not golden, but bluish white. Exactly what I wanted to teach my kids to read/classroom. I was pleasantly surprised that it arrived 2 days early and was here when I returned from Cambodia. Thanks very much!

Really good flashlights for their price. Bright and sharp, these lights are used as a desktop. BUT instructions are not included. They're really easy to use and install, just make sure the end of the LAST LED strip is capped (the plastic caps are included in the mounting hardware). The pins, when connected, represent MAINS VOLTAGE, so be careful and make sure the ends of your lanterns are covered (use a cap and maybe some tape).

I bought these lights for my succulents. I haven't had much success with pretty plants because I live in the Midwest and had very little plant lighting (those blue and red ones). I bought them based on a recommendation I saw on a plant group search. After just a few hours of using these lights, I finally had color on my plants! A plant that was supposed to be pink now has pink spots! These lamps are excellent for plants! In terms of lighting, they are very bright and only 2 strips illuminate…

I bought these to replace a table lamp that needed a new fluorescent tube. The bulb costs more than one of those bulbs (and now I have a few spare bulbs). Installation was easy - I installed 2 brackets with screws from the kit, snapped the lamp in place and connected. The downside is that the cord and not the lamp. This means that part of the cable has to remain visible to get to the switch and I have to "find" the switch. Also, my old table lamp was designed to keep the light out of my eyes…

I have mixed feelings about these lights, but that's because I'm sort of not using them for their intended purpose. I needed 6500K as I use it as extra lighting for some of my houseplants under the ladder bookcase shelves. They work well for this purpose. However, I struggle with how bright they are, which is not a manufacturer issue. They are so brightly advertised. They hurt my eyes are bright.
