I believe strong magnets damaged my phone. The magnet closes quite hard and strong. I placed a credit card (inactive) to resist being "slapped" on screen. I ended up cutting off the magnet. The magnet was so strong it looks like my S8 phone got bricked and it started turning on and off.

I initially liked this case because it could hold my cards and still be charged from a wireless charger without ruining the cards. But I saw a previous review of such cases leaving marks on the screen. I noticed the stains after a day but I was able to remove them. For this reason, I'll take a chunky card case that doesn't charge wirelessly. I guess that's the price of not having a wallet. The fit and finish of this case is great and it might not even be a real issue but I wouldn't risk it.
