🌿 Organic Clove Shampoo by Kin Organics Review

If you have a long-haired dog it may take some time to get used to the shampoo's non-lathering properties. I just make sure my dog is completely wet to the skin before shampooing. The shampoo did its job well and left my Aussie soft and fluffy, but if you're sensitive to smells the rose and clove scent might be too strong. A floral and spicy scent doesn't seem like a good combination to me. Reminds me of patchouli or something.

I have three dogs so a good dog shampoo is a must in our house. Kin Organics is my favorite! It smells nice but isn't overpowering (my dogs don't sneeze and roll over so crazy trying to get rid of the smell after use) and has a texture that's easy to work with and rubs into thick fur (my dogs are all hoarse mixes ). Works in warm or cold water (sometimes we bathe outside). Most importantly, it doesn't irritate anyone's skin or eyes - mine or my dogs - and washes out nicely. Highly recommended.

This shampoo smells AMAZING. I would use that! The consistency is very pleasant - not too runny, but not so thick that it was difficult to squeeze out of the bottle. Lathering up the dog (pitbull) was very easy - helps a bit with his short coat - and rinsing it out wasn't difficult (like some shampoos). It made his hair soft and smooth, beautiful and shiny. My bottle says 'Rose and Clove' and the scent was quite unique: clove comes out stronger than rose scent. There was no "wet dog" smell that often occurs after washing one of the dogs. One of the dogs came into the pool a day after bathing and I could still smell the shampoo afterwards which was a nice change. This is a strong scent! This shampoo (rose and carnation) smells amazing! It lasts a few days but my dog didn't really feel clean. This shampoo does not lather (typical organic soap), so you need to use a lot of shampoo to cover the entire coat. I will buy it again but only after using another shampoo. We have a Standard Poodle who is all boy. It goes with everything! But he smells pretty good too. We also have an American Water Spaniel and they are very similar in that she has a curly coat. Update: I like this shampoo better so I gave it another star. long haired thick haired dog like mine. I have shampoos that don't lather and I find them weird too. After years of soapy shampoos, this is just a change. The temptation is also to add too much shampoo and at almost $10 a bottle that wouldn't be great and it makes rinsing difficult if you add too much.
