I love these maternity shorts! I have worn them under dresses in hot weather and they are really cool and comfy! The fabric is still so soft after multiple washes (don't tell anyone but I've tumble dried them and they seem to hold their shape and elasticity well). I love how they fit my stomach but don't squeeze me awkwardly.

I never write reviews but I had to! Definitely my favorite maternity purchase. This is a much better material than I expected, buttery soft, thick (but not too hot), very high quality feel. I love the support and definition they give my stomach, even as I barely showed up and still feeling chubby I slipped them on under my dress and felt like a rock star! Highly recommended!

It's not that it doesn't sit well on the body, but if you aligned it where you think the knit design should be, it would sit low on the stomach and low in the crotch. never mind Pick them up and wear them however you like…
