This pin looks great except the crystal is green and not iridescent. It seems well done. The part they copied it from clearly had some sort of crystal inserts, but the makers of the pen didn't bother. Both parts of the needle look good and the chain is fine too.

I am a female and ordered this as a collar clip. I think the little gems on this pin add a bit of sparkle without being garish or bling. They're pretty thin for my taste. Although I ordered it for a collar, I think it would look great on a blazer as well. I deducted a star because the green gem is slightly curved. I don't think it's noticeable when wearing it, but it detracts from the quality.

So I ordered a couple of these for different occasions. Sorry but I'm not impressed at all! They're so cheap I'm ashamed to wear them. I don't' and I won't. Don't waste money.

They are made for costume, obviously not for a high class event. But they are definitely fun! I find it very nice. This confused me a bit because there are holes that look like gem settings and I thought the gems might be missing until I double checked the list. The gems aren't missing, it's just the style of the brooch. I'm surprised at how many facets the blue stone shows, considering it's just cheap costume jewelry!
