Poor quality - one of the connectors did not fully secure and required strong use of a hammer - so hard that the corner joints ripped apart. Very wobbly when assembled. Do not buy this product, it is rubbish.

Metal is not the strongest and most stable for heavy traffic and multiple person work. It cannot withstand an accidental fall without serious damage. It is decorative and elegant, with fewer people in contact.

This towel rail is equipped with small L-shaped connectors to connect the hanger to the legs. Then the legs are screwed into the base. Well, the L-shaped connectors are a bit too big. It looks nice when you put it together but is VERY HARD to put together. Whoever designed it depended on having a rubber mallet, great strength, infinite ability to bang the thing like a blacksmith, and infinite patience. The hard plastic parts of the connector don't really fit into the legs or the top, so it's your responsibility to actually hammer those parts in by shaving off the connector parts so they fit snugly.
