Unsuitable product, not worth the money.

a file was uploaded to it, the laptop sat down, turned off, and when it was turned on, the flash drive was not detected! tried to restore system engineering programs, it did not work. it is necessary to open and close the contacts in order to transfer it to the test mode, after that try to restore and reflash.

After receiving feedback on the dt100g3/32GB, mysticism and shomanism start. My flash drive initially displayed a pitiful 6 megabytes per second for recording, similar to many other people who left unfavorable reviews. The drive was unstoppable at 6-7 megabytes per second despite my attempts to format it in various file systems (ext4, fat, ntfs), fill the volume with DVD pictures, and so on. I chose to test the drive using dd after formatting it in FAT with the command line argument…

Pros
  • pricing, construction quality, and practical case concept without a cap
Cons
  • "slightly wider than the street", the case is too large, it obstructs nearby connectors, there is no LED indicator, and I really like it when anything blinks when it is in use

Product is disappointing, not what it promises.

I absolutely concur with Kondratenko Igor's review; even with enormous files, my write speed over a USB 3.0 port is no faster than it was over a USB 2.0 port. I was let down by the purchase. (( "Specifications" 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of storage Speed: 40 MB/s (read) and 10 MB/s (write) for 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB. 60 x 21.2 x 10 mm in size Operating range: 0 to 60 degrees Celsius Storage range: -20 to 85 degrees Celsius. The URL is www.Kingston.Com/ru/usb/personal_business/#dt100g3.

Pros
  • 410 dollars for 16 GB.
Cons
  • There is no faster writing speed than USB 2.0.

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

Its pros: Convenient sliding mechanism without a cap. Compared to previous 16Gb SanDisk and Transcend USB3.0 flash drives, it's very fast. Different cons: I don't understand why the previous commenters are so negative. The disadvantages have not yet been identified.

I have not regretted the purchase, everything is fine.

Different pros: 1. Versatility: USB regular plus USB-C. 2. Price! 64 GB was cheaper than similar 32 GB drives from other big names and only slightly more expensive than 16 GB. Has some cons: 1. The write speed for USB 3.2 is extremely low: 15-25 MB/s. 2. Very wide. Could have done already a millimeter on each side. Because of this, the nearby USB-C port on Macs will be difficult to use.

The product is of poor quality, I don't recommend it.

At first it worked fine with a laptop and a TV, but one day it died for no apparent reason. By the way, it was used in the most accurate way, without falls, bumps, safe removal, etc. My opinion: You should not take it, even though the price tag is tempting! Very disappointed!

Pros below: The flash drive is well made. Doesn't heat up. Reading speed is high. Has cons: The write speed is not very good for the USB 3 option, judging by the data download time of 26.7 GB, movies and games, it turned out to be slower than the other three flash drives (on USB 2.0). There is no work indicator.

how a flash drive for 400r will go, it’s not worth taking more expensive Pros below: Good reading speed, the exterior looks good against a dark background Different cons: Over time, the flash drive will close poorly and lock in the closed position, due to the fact that there is a plastic latch. Again, such a low write speed.

Second-rate product, won't buy it again.

The flash drive writes like the worst USB 2.0 models. I took 16Gb with the intention of using it in a usb 2.0comnnector. As arule, any 3.0 flash drive is much faster than 2.0, so I chose looking back at the brand and quite a nice design. As a result, I ran into an exception to therule. On USB 2.0, the write speed did not exceed 4-5 Mb / s, my neighbor on a modern chipset with USB 3.0 had a write speed of up to 7 Mb / s. We thought it was a marriage, but then we saw on the Kingston website that…

Pros
  • design
Cons
  • no write speed

Nice price, good quality.

Has pros: Reliable as a tank (I use G3 64 GB) Stupid cap that can't be lost Has cons: Too wide, interferes with adjacent connectors in some laptops / ultrabooks

TERRIBLE terribly slow. 1 year failed.

I've tried several times and it takes about 1.5 hours to write about 4.5GB of files to this drive. The average transfer speed is around 2 Mb/s. Sometimes much less, more like 50 kbps. abominable. Tried on different computers with different file types, but always excruciatingly, excruciatingly slow. I think I can type faster than this record can transfer a file. After about 13 months of indiscriminate use, it suddenly went into read-only mode and no amount of registry changes and third-party…

Pros
  • Warranty - Five year warranty, free tech support
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Size AND Size

I bought this 64GB USB Flash Drive to back up my photos because there can never be enough backups of those precious photos. . So in terms of cost and performance, it's great. However, it's slightly larger than regular USB ports and wouldn't fit next to a wireless mouse receiver or next to my external hard drive input when plugged in, so I ended up buying a USB-C to USB receiver (see second image) . I can use a USB-C drive on my laptop (my laptop only has 2 USB A and 1 USB C). I transfer photos…

Pros
  • Stylish Design - Black on Black Sliding Cover Design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Only 57GB available, easy to use

I bought this for my son to use on his computer for storing games/other content. Kingston advertises that this USB has 64GB of storage. But when he ran a test on it, it only showed 57GB of available storage. I am aware that a small amount, maybe 1-2GB, can be used by Kingston for various purposes. But using 7GB of storage on this device is too much. If you specify 64 GB, there should actually be 64 GB of available space. This USB is great for storing individual files up to 4GB without having to

Pros
  • Perfect USB 3.0 mass storage device for beginners
Cons
  • Minor issues

Hot junk: Decades-old USB sticks write faster.

I needed an extra USB drive to create a bootable USB drive to restore my new laptop. I saw this one for sale and didn't think twice (or read the reviews [my mistake]) because it was the Kingston brand. Upon arrival I realized something was wrong as this supposed USB 3.0/3.1 device was taking longer than usual to format. I tried moving files of different sizes - from small documents to lossy and lossless audio to uncompressed video - and they were all VERY slow to write to disk. I then decided…

Pros
  • USB 3.1 Gen 1 (USB 3.0)¹ - DT100 G3 offers USB 3.0 speeds, backwards compatible - can be used with USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
