Good memory, different part number

Liked: memory worked fine for my application, fast shipping Disliked: PN not as described. The modules received have the item: KVR1333D3N9/2G, not KVR13S9S6/2. Identical memory modules are important for some applications. I'm not lucky. Sounds like a good reminder, just wish they had warned us about a different part number.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Works well with Synology DS412+ Upgrade

I installed this memory in my Synology DS412+ NAS to increase storage space from 1GB to 2GB and it worked beautifully. With the help of a youtube disassembly video [.], I was able to disassemble the NAS and upgrade the storage in less than 10 minutes. For the DS412+, I did not increase the memory above 2GB due to abnormally high CPU usage/unpredictable system issues found on the Synology forums. behavior on 4gb. After the system just worked together, I was very satisfied.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad

Great memory for older laptops that need some upgrades.

A colleague gave me an old laptop to see if I could fix it - it wouldn't boot properly. Of course, according to the test results, part of the RAM failed. These SODIMMs match at a great price and are a laptop upgrade! I've always had good luck with Kingston products and these sticks are no exception.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Modern

Does not work with Supermicro X7SPE-HF-D525 / SuperServer 5015A-EHF-D525

present Does not work with Supermicro X7SPE-HF-D525 Motherboard (in SuperServer 5015A-EHF-D525 Barebone Server) . Tried on 2 different servers. I have some old Crucial 2GB DDR3 1066 SODIMMs that work, so I know it's not the boards. The problem is with SODIMMs. One star because the Revain configurator says it works with this motherboard. (Update: SUPERMICRO X7SPE-HF-D525 requires peer chips or 1x or x8 chips.) I am sure the product is ok. real car.
