As the title suggests this charger works just as well as the original but cheaper. So far, it has loaded 13-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with no problems. I will update again if anything changes.

I've had a computer for a while and the cable was a bit frayed and dangling a lot in the socket on the computer. This replacement fits snugly and will not slip or result in a dead battery. I took a picture of the block and tried to draw an arrow on the picture. When you remove the connector, it's difficult to see the plastic circle over the "thing" sticking out. It has a small green tab. Take it off so everyone can make good contact. I am satisfied with the price and the quality.

To be honest I'm shocked how well this thing works. I was skeptical, but my USB-C power meter and Mac seem to show it works as advertised. My Mac even considers itself an official Apple charger and draws a lot of power from it. Note that USB-C power consumption changes every second.
