The hole is too narrow.

Everything else about the tote bags was fantastic, even the style. But I didn't like how narrow the opening was, annoying at times when trying to look for something in the store. So unfortunately I had to go back and just buy an Elysia Kipling bag instead, which with all the side pockets was a plus.

Metal smells poisonous. The inside pockets are too low. Otherwise great bag.

Nice and roomy. I only have a few complaints. First, the metal I ordered smells awful. Has a toxic smell. I air it out to see if the smell goes away. Otherwise I'll send it back. Another point of criticism is that the inside pockets are too far down. I wish they were further up the bag. Otherwise great bag.

Multifunctional bag works well - the zip is not very

Actually this is a zipped bag with handles at the top for carrying and an attached strap for carrying over the shoulder. The bag is taller and thinner than most of my wallets, but big enough to carry my essentials, iPad and pencil in one case, which my shorter, thicker bags can't handle. The main complaint is that the zipper tends to get caught on a small metal bar that prevents the zipper from fully opening. Not sure why this was added - I have several zipped Kipling bags without this feature…

Just one complaint about shoulder bags

Love this bag. I have it in dark purple. It's very roomy and light. I used to prefer Baggallinnies, but they've gotten cheaper. This brand gives me the option to remove the shoulder strap which Baggalinni seems to have discontinued. So you can remove the strap and use the handles and it will hold up even more. My only complaint about Kipling is that I haven't found one with an external patch pocket yet. All outside pockets with zip. So if I want quick and easy access to my phone, I have to…
