Description of ⚡ KISAE SW1220 True Sine Wave Power Inverter - 2000W

2000W of output from any 12VDC source; Voltage (nominal) 12.5Vdc; Operation Range 10.5 – 15.5Vdc. Automatic shutdown protects overload, over temperature and low/high battery conditions. True sine wave output is ideal for operating motor loads, and to reduce stress on surge protection circuitry, meaning potentially longer equipment life. Digital display to indicate battery condition, total output power and warning/error codes. One-year warranty. A compact 2000 Watts inverter that easily converts 12 Volt (vehicle) power to 120 Volt (household) power. GFCI AC receptacle for connecting multiple loads. True sine wave output is ideal for operating motor loads; and to reduce stress on surge protection circuitry; meaning potentially longer equipment life. High efficiency converts a battery's available power to AC. Includes 5 Volt USB port.

Excellent customer service

I had a problem with my inverter and Kisae support replaced it with no questions asked. It wasn't supposed to break, but it was done under warranty.

Pros
  • Includes 5 volt USB port
Cons
  • Negative present

Amazing Product: Inverter

It's been 3 years and it's still working great. I have this in my Big Rig Peterbilt. My 900W microwave and Kuerig ran at the same time - several times at different times. I used the thickest wire 4gage could handle and only ran it 5 feet.

Pros
  • True sine wave output ideal for motor applications; and reduce the load on the overvoltage protection circuit; this may mean longer hardware life
Cons
  • Not sure

Works in a plug situation, not a distribution panel

The inverter is as advertised with good instructions. Plan your installation carefully and remember that it will not work with an installed air conditioner, only providing a set of two GFI outputs that can control stand alone units. I've only been using the system for a few weeks and haven't had any problems, but haven't used it much. I will update if there is anything to add as I am using an inverter.

Pros
  • Digital display for battery status, total power and warning/error codes
Cons
  • I will write later

Electrically it looks good, but a bit clunky.

. but the installation of the box is cumbersome. The legs have notches instead of holes, so if the device moves sideways a little, the two mounting screws will loosen. The ONLY 110v output is the 3 pin plugs on the front panel. This makes the main power cable clearly visible. I like the display that alternates between battery voltage and inverter output.

Pros
  • Highly efficient conversion of available battery power to AC power
Cons
  • No instructions

I am a locksmith and have been using this inverter for 3 years to power my key machine (and other things like grinders) with no problems. It doesn't work well with a 15 amp 7 inch grinder as the actual peak is higher. As for the pure sine wave, my key machine ($7,000) worked perfectly. I'm not an electrician and I don't have enough understanding of the dynamics of electricity to be sure this isn't a 'true' pure sine wave inverter, but I can safely say that my machine appears to be fine and only

Pros
  • Output power 2000W from any 12V DC source; Voltage (nominal) 12.5 VDC; Operating range 10.5 - 15.5V DC
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great inverter in inverters

People want to use bad quality wire to connect this inverter and then they fight. How about using your head and reading what size wire you should use for this? I went a little further than recommended and used TEMCo 1/0 gauge AWG weld wire and car battery wire to connect the battery to the inverter. Guess there's no problem with the inverter, my goodness HA!? If you want to save money doing this, go to Harbor Freight and buy it. Good luck once and for all.

Pros
  • Digital display with battery status, total output power and warning/error codes
Cons
  • Interval

Of course it works with many more devices than this

Works well when I use it to power my electronics in my house on wheels , including: Weingard HD parabolic antenna with automatic signal search; FRG; 36-inch diagonal LCD TV; Direct TV receiver with HDR and 5ch stereo powered by my RV batteries. Of course, you can also use a lot more equipment. The addition of a remote switch (about $25) makes it very convenient to use. Don't forget to use 4 AWG wire to connect to the batteries. Nothing less!

Pros
  • Compact 2000w inverter that converts 12v (automotive) to 120v (domestic)
Cons
  • Negative gift

Great inverter! in inverters

I just installed this inverter in my RV. The installation instructions were easy and it took me several hours to complete the installation. Started right away with no problems. I drive it with a 285Ah battery and have tested it running a microwave, TV, satellite receiver and other items with no issues. I'm very happy to be able to use it during quiet hours camping so I don't have to run the generator. Make sure you install it on a non-combustible surface because of possible heat generation. I…

Pros
  • Highly efficient conversion of available battery power into AC power
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

CM. UPDATE BELOW! I bought this device two years ago. I only use it for those temporary home power outages we get all the time. :-( But so far it has done everything I wanted it to. I hooked it up to a 75A hour DieHard Advanced Gold AGM battery and it can handle basically the same load as a 15A home circuit handle it. So anything you can hook up to a single house circuit will handle it. I had a larger modified sine wave inverter but there were a lot of things I didn't like at all. Between that…

Pros
  • One Year Warranty
Cons
  • Almost Never
