Needs better stand situation

I like the size of the umbrella, and it seems really nice, the downfall is the stand. It is not sturdy at all, not conducive to just stand on a patio safely. In the wind/breeze they are not sturdy at all. We had to go out and buy sandbags to secure them. patio is not wood it is cement so anchoring is another issue.

Not a good buy. on my review.

You have to drill the stand into a cement patio for it to stand up, which I didn't realize when ordering. The piece that holds up most of the umbrella is made of plastic and starts failing immediately.

Great item in my review

So far so good and I have had for over a month. I do however leave closed unless out and using it on deck. I have also used in rain and held nicely. I do not leave open for storms. Even though screwed down to deck because scared it will break something if wind hits.

Missing bolts and wind blows it

My umbrella was missing bolts. I had to go find them at a hardware store. That was annoying. Then, I ordered the exact base for this umbrella. Can't use it without it. Now when the umbrella is up, over my table, the wind blows it and it turns and doesn't cover the table. The pipe isn't fitted around the other pipe.

Not made well in my review

Got October 5th 2021 and used it for a month and put it in shed for the winter and got it out for the summer a week ago and used it a couple times and today it wouldn’t open, the string that opens the umbrella and closes it broke look at picture.don’t buy

We bought 2! good for me

The first one broke in half, so we bought another one. The winder is broken and the plastic piece that adjusts the height was cracked when we opened the box. I'm kinda over it. We bought two other umbrellas from a different brand that hold up much better!

GET A HEAVY BASE. - my new review

The umbrella is very good however, the base is too small for the umbrella. Especially in the extended position. Tips over wind or no wind. Do not put it together until you have a very heavy base on it.

So far so good in my review

So far this umbrella is working just fine. Looks well made for the price. Sturdier than I was thinking when I read some reviews There are some plastic parts so when it’s windy we don’t use it.

Nice looking but mechanics not solid

Looks great when open but for the cost not happy that I had to spend a lot for a base that would not tip over. Should have been included for the cost. Also is hard to move slip gadget to lower and raise. Finally not happy that a little bit of wind moves it from the area I need shaded

Love this umbrella!

My patio offers no shade, and this umbrella is perfect. Buy a base for it, or it will topple over. There haven't been any strong winds yet, so I'm crossing my fingers it will hold up.

  • Umbrella needs extra base, not included, to reach stability. In addition, canope stitching is deficient.
