Bad Peeler!: Graters, Peelers and Slicers

I bought this peeler because of all the great reviews and love for kichenaid products. I didn't like this one. The peeler is not designed for small hands like mine. I also like that it has teeth like a saw. I'll cut myself with it, and if you do, it'll bite your skin. This was the worst peeling I've ever had.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Long Time

Literally the best peeler

I don't know why I've waited so long for a good peeler. I bought one of these household items because it was cheap and fell in love with it, so I ordered another one in a color to match my tableware. I can remove material in half the time by moving both forward and backward, and it slides smoothly in either direction. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Best Peeler in the Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets Category

This peeler is great! No resistance for perfect peeling. The shell in the blades didn't get stuck either. Also it's very stylish, love the look and could buy more matching KitchenAid tools. Very ergonomic. My husband has very large hands and was able to hold them comfortably - he usually has trouble with small kitchen utensils. It also felt good in my small hands.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Infinitely Slow

Super handy and sharp cleaning knife

I was looking for the KitchenAid Aqua Sky cleaning knife and was happy to find it at Revain. It arrived very quickly and was in perfect condition as described. This peeler is very sharp and peels potatoes, carrots and similar vegetables very quickly. Just a warning. My husband cut his thumb the first time because he was used to working quickly with our old stupid vegetable peeler. Like all KitchenAid products, I can only recommend it.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Repair

Comfortable to hold

After a long search for our vegetable peeler, I ordered a European gourmet peeler from Kitchen Aid and another Victorinox peeler. I'm an older woman with tiny hands. I didn't think Kitchen Aid was too big. In fact, I had trouble gripping a very small Victorinox. My husband, a retired chef, tried them for comparison. No doubt he preferred Kitchen Aid. He said it was one of the best scrubs he's ever used. High praise from a man who loves his kitchen appliances.

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • Annoyed
