I purchased this item because I wasn't too impressed with the stock pad that originally came with the HTC Vise, so I went to Revain to see if there was a better one option there. WOW as I was always right it was very easy to install very easy to clean and great value for money. The value for what you get is amazing and I especially love the lens cleaning blower. Hands down the best mask cushion out there.

They feel soft but don't breathe as well as the standard foam and kind of stick to my skin/face. I don't care about the best field of view on thin lenses as I can already get my lashes to touch the Vive lenses by setting them to the narrowest setting. In summary, I prefer the standard Vive foam over these. Also a word of warning, I don't think they will absorb that much sweat and I've seen one YouTuber kill their Vive with sweat. Sometimes keeping the sweat in the foam has its advantages.

The original foam that comes with the Vive/Pro was always itchy and left a horrible red irritation ring around my eyes. It's a great alternative that's easy to sanitize, breathable, sweat-proof, doesn't itch or leave marks on your face. Highly recommended if you are unhappy with the original foam. With that in mind, I'm giving it one star because the form factor lets in a bit of light if you're in a fully lit room, but that's not an issue. unless you're playing in a room with the lights on.

My biggest concerns about replacing Vive padding are: 1) Will it absorb sweat and irritate my skin? and 2) is it convenient? This product meets both requirements. The material it's made of is smooth, non-sticky, almost rubbery, and it offers excellent cushioning and comfort without wicking sweat away from my face. I'll keep the previous info as it may apply to others, but the new one is working great so far! I bought it back in July, so only about 2 months ago, and it's already torn at the seam.
