I expected it to be very low for what I need it for. It's like a bar stool, nothing to sit on while I work on my clients' feet. He is too big. This is probably safe for carpet, but not tile. It has no grip or slipping, my mother fell off it, but other than that, installation was easy and quick.

This is a great little stool for the money. I have severe arthritis and can't stand or walk for long periods, so I need a comfortable stool to sit on and roll across the hardwood floor to dust, clean, and vacuum without having to sit down every few minutes. It's very posable and holds my almost 200 pounds without flinching. The only disappointment was the instructions, which required more text. I would buy again if I needed another one.

I have read many reviews about this stool about how customers are dissatisfied with it. This stool is not designed to sit with your buttocks stretched out. This makes it very unstable. It is designed as a saddle, bicycle seat, etc. The person has to sit on the narrow part of the seat, stabilizing the surface. I use it on thick carpet and haven't had any problems so far.
