Not at all durable in hand tools

I bought a Klein Tools screwdriver to replace a cheap screwdriver I've used for over 10 years. The famous Klein tool broke after just 3 uses, but unfortunately outside of Revain's one-month return period. Klein Tools wants me to waste my time and money sending them their junk product for a warranty replacement! This agreement puts Klein Tools on the same footing as a cheap, unbranded company that makes lower quality products at a higher price.

Pros
  • Stainless steel bit holder contains strong rare earth magnets to hold bits and fasteners
Cons
  • Nothing

Feels best like a toy in screwdrivers

The concept itself is pretty clever, but in concept it's really useless. The shank is extended with these slots on the shank that "snap" into the body of the screwdriver. The parts it snaps into aren't very secure and you can feel the screwdriver move a bit as you use it. A little annoying and definitely not confidence inspiring when using it for heavier work. Also, the bits that go in at the top aren't as secure and will fall out of the case when you change bits. They are beautiful and dark in

Pros
  • Impact resistant blade can be removed for use as an impact driver bit
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Cool, not perfect, lots of noise, but works well

This is a cool, probably limited, version from Klein. I thought it would be really good, but honestly I'd rather go with a normal small backbone. It's a lot thicker than your average Klein and doesn't have that classic Klein quality feel either. The bits are very high quality, but the bit adapter on both models is very loose and dangles, especially in the regular size, which makes these things real noise cancellers and can pass as maracas. But it's functional. I thought the bit save feature…

Pros
  • Compact driver easily gets into hard-to-reach places
Cons
  • Repair

Shorty with attitude!

Works like a short when folded, so it's a lot more. A descriptor stores multiple bits, but not just bits. These are also dead end bits. They are about half the length of a normal small bit. Ideal for tight spaces. The adjustment mechanism is easy to press to change the length of the reach. The tip magnet is strong and holds bits well. Very handy handle. The quality you expect from Klein. Nice general purpose tool for my shop. Ideal for a tool box, tool box, clip holder above your desk or glove…

Pros
  • Adjust blade length for easier access.
Cons
  • Unreliable.
