Dreams is right!

These layered birch needles are so smooth they are a pleasure to use. If you want to use wooden needles instead of metal ones, but bamboo is a little more handy than you would like, Knitter's Pride laminated birch needles are the right choice. I've tried KnitPicks laminated birch needles and they don't even come close to this level of suppleness. In fact, KnitPicks wooden needles are as handy as bamboo needles. But I digress. I love using these Dreamz needles. So glad I bought them.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good

Much better than bamboo or metal

Easy to use, yarn glides smoothly on needles without the annoying click of metal needles. The line is held securely on the needles and the workmanship is good, unlike the bamboo needles I bought which broke in the middle of a large piece (oops!). The only downside is that the connecting line of the needles is a bit stiff and can twist a bit as it tends to hold its original shape and doesn't bend like some of the circular needles I've used. With a more flexible line it would be 5 stars plus!

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

NOT FOR EASY KNITTING!

I wanted to knit a trendy tableware napkin from this article. The pattern requires a minimum number of stitches, then it works up to full rows. Since the pattern was light (only 4 sts on the first row), the line on this pair of needles constantly returned to the circle, interfering with knitting. This cable is wrapped so tightly in the package that it cannot be straightened. I even tried to weigh him down with heavy books at night. When I tried to use it the next day, it was still going back…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
