My group of friends is mostly black, which often makes our non-black friend confused about what we're saying. I gave it to her and she was very happy about it. It's funny to hear how she uses words in their awkward way. This is a fun gift for your friends who don't like slang and I will definitely take them again for other friends or just me!

I don't know why I thought it was some kind of game but it definitely isn't. I mean, that's what they say - flashcards. Some words are old and outdated and everyone should know what they mean. But reading the definition and then seeing the whitest bread, a middle-aged cartoon description, was downright funny -- for the first time. After that it gets old.

I bought these as a POC because I needed to see for myself what these cards could offer to others. They are pathetic when taken seriously and entertaining at best when not easily offended. Please don't buy them thinking you'll learn a whole new way to speak (or understand). Most words/phrases are obsolete if they were ever valid. On the other hand, they make a great gift for the carefree POC in your life!
