Kodak 50 In 1 Card Reader Black Review

This product sometimes does not work. I've never seen anything like this in a card reader. It almost scares you when it doesn't work as you are not sure if it accidentally deleted all your photos or if the photos are still there. I would not recommend anyone to buy this. I know Kodak as a reliable brand and I am ashamed that a product like this is branded. When I tried to insert a CompactFlash card for the first time, it wouldn't go in. I checked the pins in the card reader, a few were bent. I've tried straightening them, but the area is so narrow it's almost impossible. Even after thinking they looked lined up, I was still able to plug in a card reader and a few pins were bent again. When I first connected it to my Macbook Pro to transfer pictures from a CF card, it worked great. Strangely, when I put the CF card back into the camera, the camera didn't recognize the card. This card reader looks huge so I figured the CF card would spend most of its length in the slot. Oddly enough, it hardly penetrates 1/4 inch into the slot, leaving most of the reader body occupying empty space.
