Absolutely normal - I will buy

This is not the best. So four stars. But it fits every Hunt and Brause I have except Hunt 102 and 108. Oddly enough you can put 107 on one of the pins and that works too. At the very least, it's worth replacing one of your long speedball holders with this one, which is way better.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • No instructions

High quality pen holder.

By far the best pen holder on the market. The cork is easy to grip, does not slip. Accommodates all standard sized pen work, from sketches to calligraphy. I use Noodler ink - tons of flowers and 3 ounce bottles instead of 1/2 ounce bottles. You'll need several of these pen holders if you need different nibs for the same project; I have 5 or 6 of these. We recommend!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • disappears

long, lightweight tip holder, better than plastic pencils

I prefer to use a wooden pencil than the cheap plastic pencils I started with. light weight, the cork grip is comfortable, a good diameter (about 1/2 inch) and is now also the longest pen holder I have, about 6-1/2 inches. , and works with the G Pen.

Pros
  • For drawing and sketching
Cons
  • High price

Feels great and looks great, but what springs go with it?

I bought this pen holder to replace a cheap pen holder I bought at an art store here in Washington. While fingers feel good, none of my feathers seem to fit. The part of the pen holder at the tip is a tiny metal cup with a metal ring, prongs(?), I call them prongs. Maybe I'm using it wrong, but my tips don't match up or around these prongs. In the same order I had other feathers as part of the set. They don't fit either. Is there a specific tip this was made for?

Pros
  • Cork finger grip for added comfort
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Would I buy again

I really like this straight pen holder. I'm new to calligraphy but bought this hoping it would have universal use and it does! I photographed the universal insert because I haven't seen anyone else show it and it wasn't mentioned in the product description, which is odd. If the pins are facing up, not like in my picture, then just push them down with the pin shaft. I also photographed it next to the handle of the Pilot G2 for size comparison. I think it's pretty convenient. I practiced with it…

Pros
  • Strong steel tip insert
Cons
  • Older model
