Buyers beware of aquarium pumps and filters

There is a lot more dust in the product than I thought, even after several washes. Bought to clean the air. Not what I expected.

Came in a box not a tub, lots of dust sized parts. Still works effectively but be prepared for tiny bits falling through the protective bag into your pond.

Water is Clear Again

This charcoal product helps keep my 350 gallon aquarium clean. I bought some filter bags, filled them with charcoal and put them in a reserve tank, and no more cloudy water.

Great quality at a great price.

Perfect size for standard fine mesh bags. I used 6lbs in the overflow of my carp pond and started noticing improvements after 24 hours. The water is cleaner and the fish eat more.

Not worth the money

I washed the mesh with a full 10lb sample for a 2000 gram pond. The water in my pond is black! I took it out and rinsed it again with water from the hose. The water never ran out. Now I have a black spot on the wall of the house from the river. WITH THIS POWERFUL BLACK SUN THERE HAS NEVER BEEN CARBON. I need to clean my PADS ONCE A DAY.

Came in a box, no bucket, very dusty

25 lbs of charcoal came in a box with a black plastic bag, not a 5 gallon bucket as advertised. and that dusty charcoal leaves mounds of black dust everywhere, seeping through cloth sacks of plain-weave cloth.

$20 price increase since last order so researched and found it a lot cheaper.

Downgrading from 5 to 3 stars only due to a significant price increase since my last purchase and because the air conditioning was found much cheaper elsewhere. Bought for £5 in June 2018 for a total shipping cost of $79.92. I checked today to inquire about a £5 backorder and the price is now $20 more. This product arrived in a box, not a tub.
