Very strong, the best among gun holders and clips

I installed this on my UTV. To keep it strong you'll need to offset it a bit before tightening the knobs and then aligning the bars to ensure a tight fit. The stand even serves as a support handle when driving down steep slopes. A very strong unit.

Buy better. in Gun Racks & Clamps

This rack is undeniably tough. However, the stance and weapons will soon hit you on the head. The problem is that the kickstand extends manually, so the only force you can put on the kickstand to hold it in place is how hard you can push. He needs a way to expand into a roll cage with jackscrews or something. I need to rebuild the rack to make it usable. The other issue I have is the gun pouches themselves. Again, this isn't very secure and could damage your gun. In short, spend more money and…

Yamaha Wolverine Rmax2 1000 Set

When I went to install my 21 year old Yamaha Rmax2 they didn't slide together tight enough to fit. So since I had to trim them down, I decided to update them a bit while I was at it. I cut it just above the 2nd weld nut. Underneath, welded another nut the same distance as the factor, so you can't even tell I modified it. I then had to do some custom work and put springs in so that when it pops out there is constant positive pressure between the bars. Then secure it with factory screws. Now it…

Only 4 stars because of the changes I had to make

This is a very good quality product! Since this is a "universal" fit and my new Polaris has a "professional" cage, I had to modify it to fit. It was easy to do. I shortened the main part by cutting it off just behind the first adjustment knob. I had to cut the "grove" deeper in the second part to make it slide short enough. I flattened one of the "forks" at the front of the cab to fit between the roof and the cage. When I bought it I knew I would have to modify it on my Polaris 1000 due to the…

Won't hold up, keeps crashing

I have a 2014 Kawasaki Mule 4010. The bars are easy to install but the only thing that keeps them in place is how far they pull out and twist can become. two retaining screws. They keep falling and hit me or my passenger in the head when they hit a bump. I wired them to the outer roll cage, but they only allow me to mount my shotgun or rifle, not my AR rifle or sporting rifle because the distance between the two bars is too big. It also means that the gun holder is right above my head. So if I…

Great product, doesn't fit 2017 Polaris 900xp

Very well made product, sturdy and good looking but I couldn't fit it to my 2017 Polaris Ranger 900xp with stock roof. The center pole in the roof is about 6 inches smaller than it could be used, the only suitable attachment was to put one end in the gap between the roof and the front pole. Because of this, the product hung unacceptably low and posed a hazard to those riding in the middle. If you had to cross rough terrain at all, this product would work fine in my particular case. I believe…

Durable, versatile, fits and gets the job done!

I love it when a product is reasonably priced AND has acceptable quality and functionality. It fitted my 2013 Polaris Ranger 500 with no problems. I read another reviewer's complaint that installation requires manual tension so it's not tight enough BUT I just adjusted it as tight as possible at a slight angle and then knocked. it's in place and it's very tight and didn't move at all after a few test rides on some bumpy trails. I don't have any issues with the gun pouches either - they are well
