He just can't hold 20 pounds. I have a 16 pound bag of cat food that is half empty. The container is almost full. I think I need 2. Otherwise it's ok.

Bought several of these to store 50 pounds of flour. I like how tight the lid closes. There is a small hinged lid to hold the product and a measuring spoon for 1 cup. They are a decent size and I love that they easily fit in my closets.

Disappointed. The seal around the opening cover does not fit at all. Came out when I first opened the cover. I tried to put it back in place but found that it was about an inch longer than the rail in circumference. It just doesn't fit. It's not glued either.

Bought for storing rice. A month later, I noticed that there were maggots in both the container and throughout the shelf. Apparently, the red lid does not offer 100% tightness - the shape of the lid is slightly curved. He leaves a gap between them. The gap is larger than a thin layer of silicone. Very disappointed and I don't want to use it for food storage anymore. Now I can't return it!

I have used other Komax products and have always been satisfied. This one didn't let me down either. I use it to store cat food. I can tuck her gummies in the back behind the lid. Unfortunately, this product is not leak-proof or insect-proof. I live in the southeastern United States and food moths are a constant struggle. You can easily reach this container through the hinged lid. If you are not very careful the contents of the container can also fall under the hinge area at the top of the lid and is very difficult to clean without removing and cleaning the lid after each use. Absolutely love this storage box. When it came out I was afraid it wouldn't suit my needs because the design is so compact it really doesn't look like it would fit the way it actually is. However, I was thrilled to find I could fit an entire 5 pound sack of rice in this basket.
