While I'm a big fan of the metric system, I'm very glad that system doesn't exist. Every other tape measure I have has a metric side, and I always feel like this is the side I need to use to measure something in inches. This band has inches on both sides, and if you don't know your 1/8, they're even written to help you.

You won't feel uncomfortable owning this tape measure. The price is cheap, the quality of the product is high, and the ease of use is better than any other tape measure I've used. I like the high visibility of the case and the addition of breaks on the band itself. So to sum up, good value, easy to use and easy to find - just go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Retracts easily and locks well. I didn't use the end with the magnetic handle because I mostly measure wood. I noticed that it retracts slower than my others, which annoyed me a bit at first, but then I realized that it's actually safer. I've been cut by fast-moving tape before, and my kids have been hit by it. It takes a second longer, but don't worry, so I like it.
