I bought an Apple G4 Powerbook in 2004. It was updated to Ubuntu 10.20 about 10 years ago. The laptop was removed and I forgot about it. I unloaded the laptop and it booted up with no problems. I replaced Ubuntu with Debian SID with the 02/02/2021 install. The machine booted, but with 756MB of RAM, it was terribly slow. I upgraded the machine to 2GB RAM (maximum for this machine) and it works fine with Debian SID.

My poor old Dell Insperion 1000 just couldn't handle modern websites. It was very bad, unbearably slow. However, using it with normal computer applications is not a problem. I hated getting rid of an old friend. My Dell only has one memory slot so I thought why not try it, 1GB is better than 256MB and the price is right. IMPRESSIVE! I got a new machine immediately! I added a few more to the life of a 10 year old car! Great product, thank you.

I bought this 1GB of memory for a friend's 8 year old Dell laptop which was constantly freezing and slowing down to the point of being almost unusable due to lack of RAM. . While the computer is capable of handling a bit more RAM, that 1GB of memory along with the existing 250MB that was installed did the trick. My girlfriend will eventually need to invest in a new computer, but that 1GB of memory allows her previously unusable computer to function properly. Highly recommended.

Installed and my CF-29 Tough Book recognized it when loading. No problem, good price. I'm happy 😊 As for the sticker on the chips, I don't know that removing them will void the warranty. Of course, people will remove the big sticker from the memory card.

I bought 2 of these. The first one worked great and the laptop came back to life. I thought if one is good, two are better; so i ordered another one. When I installed the second, the computer wouldn't boot; so i returned it. The company gave me no statics and the return was very easy.
