Not as good as felt

In my opinion they are not as good as felt in the water but damn close. Definitely better than the feeling of muddy riverbanks. Excellent outsole. For ascending and descending the river in water and on land.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • High price

What difference does it make what the hex does

used spikes on medium PA threads for many years and they were fine. The Korker aluminum hex outsole is just amazing. Now you don't need to use the swamp stick most of the time, and a good prop is now always under your feet. great buy and worth the money.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The outdated model

Don't be upset

They add A LOT of traction. Good luck keeping them. I've pulled them so tight I think they'll undress, And yet they'll loosen. I would recommend the spiked ones, they are lighter, cheaper and you don't have to worry about losing parts.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for seniors

They look great but fall out too easily

I bought these soles for a trip out west and even put blue Loctite screws in before putting them on. In the photo after three days of walking on slippery stones. . It's just poor design and a real security issue. I would give zero stars if I could. This is a real disappointment for me as Korkers have been a big part of my saltwater dock fishing shoes for many years. This is just terrible.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Nuts come off

Wow, I miss my cleated soles. They came with a small Allen wrench to tighten the screws, which I did. I was on the road for more than two hours and already three nuts/bolts came loose and clogged the river bed. In fact, I found two foreign corkers on the shore! They snap neatly into place and you can swap between different soles, but that's about as positive as I can tell. They are expensive and unfortunately unreliable in terms of endurance. In 20 years of fly fishing the Deschutes, Rogue…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
