I like that it looks like a cropped linen shirt, but it's made of a lighter fabric so my son finds it more comfortable. And the elastic waistband is good. I ordered two different pairs for different colors and they have held up well through the wash. I had to use it as a bathing suit once and as the fabric wasn't too heavy it worked well.

The shorts are excellent quality, I usually like all Carters brands but the drawstring is so short you only have room for a tiny knot. Strong also shrinks when you wash them. Not recommend

These slip-on shorts look great and are perfect for big kids who don't need zips. They are thinner than uniform shorts (i.e. thinner than adult khakis). They also wrinkle more easily than uniform shorts in a desk drawer, but they don't wrinkle too much when worn.

Much nicer than expected! I'm so glad I came back and bought the next size up today. They're perfect and they're adjustable so hopefully they'll last a while!

Great shorts. Durable, you can see they will last a very long time! Washed many times, do not shed. Great fit, great length and easy to pair with everything!

Tie knots at the ends of the shoelaces on both sides, otherwise you'll pull the shoelaces every time you wash them. Otherwise these shorts are great. They are really soft. The belt keeps them on my son and he can easily pull them up and down.

Washes well! I've mixed them with dark ones and with towels and the color is still vibrant and the material doesn't pill or fade. Super cute design. My toddler loves little tacos and pizza.

I was surprised by the color, hence 4 stars. The material is a bit thin but that's ok because the shorts are for those who live in Texas. I left orange because I wanted that color too.

I love everything about these shorts: the quality of the material, the fit and also the price for good shorts. However, it was supposed to be a gift and there were no tags or packing/return slips attached to the item. It was folded into a clear pouch and placed in a Revain pouch. I bought the item new so I think it had tags attached? Also, the shorts were a little wrinkled but smelled like new clothes.

These are fantastic summer shorts! The fabric is light and does not wrinkle. The shorts are tough enough for the tough game, yet stylish enough for a dressier, dressier occasion.

These shorts are of good quality except for the aglet. I bought 3 pairs and after the first wash the aiguillettes on each pair are gone. For me this isn't a problem because they are made for gaming not clothing and the cords are quite long so I don't think they will come out.

Great shorts. Good price. But I warn you that you may help your child tie them every time they go to the bathroom. These may not be the best shorts for your child unless they have enough flesh to keep those suckers from falling off or they can't tie a bow themselves (although the tie is a bit short).

Very soft, pleasant to the touch 100% cotton fabric, THIN for hot and humid summers. The "RED" is actually a beachy pale orange color, the camel color is not the same as the picture but still a beige/khaki color scheme. The cut is ideal for slim leggy guys. I liked them so much that I bought four pairs because the quality is excellent.

I was concerned about the fit as my boy is a heavy bob but they fit him very well and are a good length! Will definitely be buying again for spring as it has another growth spurt!

How sweet. The shorts have a charming pattern. The band at the waist is so short that it is almost impossible to tie, so it is difficult to attach it to the child.

Very comfortable, not tight at all. Easy to put on and take off to help your child learn to dress themselves. Great price and very well made.

We LOVE these pants, we had the green ones when he was 12 months and then got the same ones when he was 18 months and the color is beautiful. Now he is 2 years old, he is slim but they fit well, there is not much room to grow. They are so soft that you can move and keep up with baby. They are holding up very well and the ones he wore when he was 12 months old still look new and wash really well too. I will be sad if he grows a short line for her.

Design flaw: These shorts are for 4-5 year olds who are new to knitting. They are too loose and the strings are loose and fall off. If I tie strings, I put my little one at risk of going to the bathroom at school. The belt needed to be tighter so the shorts could be worn without tying the drawstring.
