Removed old spring leaving a hole in the base. Tried screwing this one into the same hole. what a fight I ended up using pliers which scratched the metal.

You look good and you do your job. However, the rubber tips come off quite easily and if you have small children who enjoy playing with doorstops, the rubber element comes off easily and can pose a choking hazard.

The small white bumpers are not fixed to the doorstop and are very easy to remove. We've already lost one, making it useless. For this price I expected better. I bought a better and cheaper product at my local hardware store to replace them.
