🔧 KOWOOD Adjustable Bearings with Interchangeable Multi Slots Review

The bearings looked fine at first, but after two feet they became dangerously loose and unstable. After another two feet of cutting, only 3/16 x 3/16, the screw came out and the cutter dug up the rather expensive piece I was working on. It's not finished now.

Comes in a kit for a 7/16 inch rabbit. Requires a router jig with a hole diameter larger than 1 3/8". I didn't think of that when ordering. I took my router jig off and will either make or buy one with a wider center hole.

It was a great purchase! My sister is an artist and I make frames for her. I bought this bunny bat to carve a frame insert in wood. I used to use a table saw for this process, but I was looking for something that would do the same job, only faster. That's it! Not only is it faster, but it's also much more consistent. I love it! I've only used it on two projects but so far I'm very happy with it. The quality seems good and so is the price. I can't say anything about the durability of the blades given my low use, but I'm sure that it will be sufficient. The only thing I would appreciate is a chart showing which camp to use for a rabbit of a certain size. Trial and error works, but the chart saves time.

I enjoy using it and I'm glad I have the adjustable nozzle for different projects. It took a bit of effort to figure out which part would give me what depth, because while I'm good at math, it doesn't seem to fit together right. I thought I would just go through each one and make a chart that I felt should be included in the product but for the price I am happy with what I bought and all of my haircuts have come out wonderful.

The quality of the hex bolt that holds the bearing to the tip of the bit was so poor that it broke on the first attempt to replace the bearing. The included hex tool was the right size and helped remove the hex bolt holding the bearing. I had to use pliers to remove the screw on the bit to change the bearing size. I will probably return this product as I don't have to use pliers when I need to change the tongue depth.

I am new to the hand router and bought this to cut tongues/rabbits. Other router bits seem to be very expensive. I bought this and am very satisfied. It comes with an adjustable set of round devices that you can switch to any router shape you want. They are easy to change and offer flexibility for different requirements. If I did this for a living I would buy custom sizes. and end up spending ten times more. But for what I need they are perfect.

This bit was bought to cut the tongue and groove on the rounded part of a table saw insert with no gap and it worked great. My problem was removing the hex screws on both the guide bearing stack and the bit. They were both tightly adjusted, and the steel flipped where the key engages the screw. Fortunately the screw was not damaged. I have a set of good quality Allen keys and was able to remove the screws with no problem. All in all the price was reasonable for my needs but I'm not sure I would

Dd does not come with the hex key needed to replace the bearings. Otherwise it looks good, haven't used it yet. I wanted to cut a 3/8 tongue with it, had to measure with bearings and change bearings until I found 3/8. The sets are assembled at the factory and the bearings fit snugly onto the shaft, holding it in BEARING NOT ON THE CUTTER. I've tried more than enough parts over the years and have needed a few of these for multiple furniture and furniture projects.
