It made my trimming so much easier then past years.

I have a huge yard with countless trees. This product performed as advertised. I easily trimmed branches up to 2+” with little effort. Without a doubt the best branch trimming tool I have used. The blade sliced through the branches so easily I was surprised, and since it is extendable I was able to get branches that took a ladder to reach before.

Pros
  • Ergonomic grip for comfortable use
Cons
  • May not be very precise on thicker branches

So easy to cut with and very simple to use

These are fabulous. So easy to cut with and very simple to use. You can get to those hard ro reach places with the extenders. Very please with the purchase, definately happy to have gotten this size vs a smaller pair.

Pros
  • CUT UP TO 2" BRANCH - This Lopper has Powerful leverage to cut and prune up to 2" branches and saplings. Heavy duty tool that cuts effortlessly, it allows fast removal of dry and woody growth.
Cons
  • Blade may become dull quickly

High quality - my new review

I'm 68 yrs old and Pollard 3 - 28 yr. old craigmyrtles in about 3 hrs. Handles extend with push of a button. Never buy another pair of bypass loppers.

Pros
  • I need a Rachet Pruner
Cons
  • May not be long enough for some needs

The lopping head is well designed to allow a lot of leverage but the handles, made of aluminum, are not up to the job. Mine snapped cutting cutting a 1-1.5 inch root. Have contacted the seller (Stratton Place) for a refund or replacement, waiting to hear back.Follow up:Stratton Place has offered a full refund and thought there was a bad batch of these loppers. Five stars for seller for their quick response and stand-up approach.

Pros
  • Durable blades cut cleanly and efficiently
Cons
  • May not be very comfortable to grip

Won't stand behind product

These clippers work great, but are fragile. I used them for less than 6 times and the blade broke. Moreover, the seller refused to replace them in spite of the defect. Stay away.

Pros
  • I love this article, its usefulness and its appearance
Cons
  • Can be difficult to use in tight spaces

Works great on my review.

This lopper works fine, it's a quality product. The aluminum extension handles are fine for what it's designed for: a good combination of extended-reach and durability for up to 1-1/2" or so limbs. Want something heavier and sturdier? Get a Fiskars 394801-1002. I have one of those too. Want something for even bigger stuff? Get a chainsaw.

Pros
  • Ideal for pruning hard-to-reach branches
Cons
  • May not be very effective on older growth

Great tool that cuts large branches.

FANTASTIC set of loppers. Cuts wood very smoothly and remains sharp. I have to hedge my oleanders ever few years and the branches get up to 2.5" dis. This tool cuts through them very easily.

Pros
  • It’s a bit heavy..
Cons
  • May require a lot of effort

Very sturdy and sharp

The extendable handle gave me leverage when trimming thicker branches, the blades are very sharp. I am a petite woman and this is a great tool. I clean it after each use and it still looks 3 years later.

Pros
  • Lightweight design for easy maneuverability
Cons
  • May not be as durable as promised

Cuts branches like butter

I was very impressed that one inch diameter branches cut cleanly and easily. Light weight for the size of the loppers and I was able to reach branches that were out of reach with 24 inch loppers.

Pros
  • Can be used year-round for various landscaping projects
Cons
  • May not be very precise on small twigs or new growth

Telescoping but not strong

The telescoping handles come with a trade off of reduced strength to power through branches. It’s not a compromise that supports my needs.

Pros
  • 252606
Cons
  • May cause hand fatigue

Just what I was looking for

I bought these due to a bad back and I have a root system from some old vines that needs to be cut out of the ground. Its a very time consuming project and these are the perfect height, once telescoped, so that I don't have to bend all day.

Pros
  • Improves the overall health and appearance of trees and shrubs
Cons
  • May not be very precise on branches with multiple forks or angles

Very good tool in my review

I used this tool to cut branches from Christmas tree, to make it easier to carry out of apprtmnt. The tree is dry so, I cannt tell how it works on live tree, but my task was done as a magic. Almost like meditation- so easy. Didnt get stuck, cut brunches up to inch in diameter.

Pros
  • Ideal for people with limited mobility
Cons
  • May not work well in tight spaces or angles

Not for hardwoods such as blackjack and post oaks.

Revised Review 3-22-18.Following my initial 2 star review, the seller reached out to me asking what could be done to resolve my issues. Seller suggested that the original loppers might be defective and sent a replacement pair at no cost. Seller also indicated that the handle arms were lightweight aluminum meant to bend, but no break.I have revised my review to indicate 3 stars for the following reasons. The replacement loppers are pretty much equivalent to the first pair. That said, these will…

Pros
  • Blade stays sharp for extended periods of time
Cons
  • May not be very sturdy

Broke after 20 cuts - Vendor replaced at no charge

My 83 year old husband has limited strength, and he was very happy with how easily the lopper cut branches with very little effort. Unfortunately, the short handle snapped off after approximately 20 uses.***** I upgraded my original 1-star review to 5 stars. Purchased lopper in Oct 2018. When it broke in Jan 2019 and I wrote poor review, I had not yet contacted vendor. When I did contact them, the lopper was replaced immediately. We are very satisfied. The lopper makes everything go faster and…

Pros
  • Can help improve the overall health of trees
Cons
  • May not work well on higher branches

Great for branches up to 1 inch. Over that and they will break

Worked pretty good until they broke. No point in adding a picture because they broke in the same spot as all the other pictures on here from other users. Overall they worked pretty good Until I cut about a 2 inch branch Then I heard a pop and it was over. If you were only cutting lightweight branches up to I would say about 1 inch these would be perfect for you if you’re cutting larger branches I switched over to the GG 12 from Tabor tools they are heavier but they are also heavy duty.

Pros
  • Saves money in the long run by reducing re-growth
Cons
  • May not be very precise on thicker hardwoods

Very good loppers/good company to deal with!

Easy to adjust and cut! Cuts live limbs like butter! Just watch the size limitation! There aren't many on the market that telescope and have this level strength! I have a pair of ratcheting loppers that are stronger, but the endless ratcheting drives me nuts so I only use them on large branches!

Pros
  • 26.77 x 1.57 x 10.63 inches
Cons
  • May not be as efficient as some other loppers

Lightweight and sharp!

These are terrific! Sharp, lightweight, and the extension makes it easy to reach taller branches. Easy to use even if on a ladder. First pair was dull, so I contacted the seller. Immediate response and sent me a new replacement. The first ones seem to have been returned previously. I am 5'2" and these are wonderful! Very well made! Highly recommend.

Pros
  • Aluminium,Steel
Cons
  • May not be very ergonomic
